I have lived the majority of my life in Mudgeeraba attending Mudgeeraba Primary school and then completed my schooling at All Saints Anglican College. During these years I was heavily involved in Mudgeeraba Girl Guides working my way up from Brownies to a Junior Leader.

 In 1988 I attended the World Girl Guide Camp which was an amazing experience. My parents were heavily involved in the Mudgeeraba community, Mudgeeraba Show society, Lions and the RSL and I too have been a part of many of the local events.

After leaving school I completed a Diploma in Childcare and worked my way up to my current position of Centre Director for ABC Parkwood North. I have also had the opportunity to work abroad for many years in the USA at a Summer Camp and then in Canada at a Ski resort.

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, having BBQ’s and catching up with each other. My passion is travelling and seeing new places, my favorite so far would be Canada.

I have joined the Girl in a Million Quest because I have a special place in my heart for the RSL and the service it provides for ex-service men and women. I have been brought up with an understanding of what the RSL does for our communities and I believe that it is my generation that needs to keep it alive. I hope over the next 9 months to raise $15000 to help keep RSL Care alive and raise community awareness as to what they do. I am looking forward to getting to know you all better and intend organizing great events that will also raise funds to enable the RSL to send packages to ADF personnel in Afghanistan.
